Alfie yesterday

Family

Edison-Eiger vom Rickental

Wilma was disappointed not to see her family yesterday. One of her nephews and one of her nieces were doing their breeding tests near here, but we had to stay at home. She had asked if she could help, but our Mistress said that she was going to be too busy to look after Wilma too. Both her niece, Sybil and her nephew, Eiger are very handsome and Wilma says she is proud of both of them. This is a picture of Eiger. He lives a long way from here on the island of Jersey, so had to do a long trip to get here. He had to come on a boat and then a long way in the car.

Shower

I, on the other paw, spent my day having a shower. Not all day you understand. As you might have worked out, my tummy was really bad again. And I do mean really really bad! I didn’t manage to hang on until our Mistress came home, which resulted in the shower. She says I seem to be getting worse again rather than better so will have to go to the vet on Monday if things don’t improve. The worst bit was not being allowed out to spend time with the visitors we had at the end of the day. Apparently I smell!

Rest day

Today our Mistress has declared a rest day. She says after yesterday she is worn out and doesn’t want to do anything. Not anything at all. I think she might be persuaded to go for the odd walk, but otherwise she doesn’t want to be bothered by anyone or anything. Of course, days never really work out like that all day. I think I’m going to take bets on what or who will be the first to spoil her nothing!
