Traffic
Mum said we saw enough traffic yesterday to last us a lifetime. She even started singing a song about not liking Mondays. That was while we were sitting in a traffic jam for an hour going nowhere so she may have had a point. When we got home, Shadow and I were so pleased to be out of the car that we ran around the garden like mad things. I told Mum it might do her good to have a good run, but she seemed to prefer the idea of going to bed. I’m sure she would have felt better for the run!
The boys
Now I’m excited about seeing the boys. Mum is going to collect them first thing this morning. I’ve got so much to tell them. I can’t wait to tell Alfie that we went on the walk he went on when he was 4 months old. I do hope he can remember. I guess it could be a bit of a noisy day until we all settle down and stop telling each other all our news.
Exercise
Much as I’m looking forward to my walk later, it really isn’t the same without Mama and Valeria around. I guess I miss the mountains too as it’s really flat round here. Shadow and Alfie are both going swimming. Shadow says she feels as though her hip really needs it and is looking forward to the nice warm water on her aching limbs. She says her feet are tired from some of the walking we’ve been doing too, so a swim will make a nice change. I wish I could do both, but I’ll have to make do with a walk for now. Mum has said she’ll get the paddling pool out for me later, so I’ll have to make do with that.
