Winston
Oh how exciting, Winston has written to me. Winston is probably the only Entlebucher Mountain Dog living in Australia. He is one of the most travelled Entlebuchers we know. Of course Shadow’s brother Rocky has moved too and did live in Indonesia for a while. Winston however has lived in Switzerland, Australia and is soon moving to Canada.
Sydney Opera House
I have to say that while I love travelling, I’m not sure I really fancy flying. But what amazing places to have your photo taken. He was born in Switzerland in 2010 and moved to Australia when he was four. He likes going to a dog park in Sydney which is surrounded by bush. Can you imagine the exciting things he might run in to if he strayed off into the bush? As a dog who knows no fear, I think that all sounds pretty exciting, although oddly Mum says it would be dangerous and not a good idea. She’s no fun at times.
Sydney Harbour Bridge
He’s even been to Sydney Harbour Bridge as well. How cool is that? He is one classy dog in my book.
If you’re an Entlebucher who has moved about and seen the world you could write to me and tell me about it too. Then if I don’t get to visit those places for myself at least I can get to hear about what they are like.
Tuscany
I am going to be visiting somewhere new soon. Shadow and I are going to Tuscany on our holidays. I’m particularly excited as I shall be meeting up with my half brother / nephew / puppyhood best mate, Salvo and his housemate Izzy who is my niece. I just hope the humans are prepared for us to have a really good play together and aren’t expecting us to behave. It will be our holidays after all.
