Fun Day
It’s Fun Day today and I really really want to go. I know I’m not supposed to run around too much, but my legs aren’t too bad at the moment. My brother Amigo is going to be there and it would be wonderful to see him. Our half-brother Bernie will be there too and Amigo hasn’t met him before so it would be good to be there to introduce them. Normally I’d be able to go in our Mistress’s car and sit in the crate when I wasn’t taking part, but the car is
still being repaired so she only has Alfie’s little car and I’m not sure that would work so well.
Shadow wants to go too so she can see her son. One of her daughters is coming too, she’s my half-sister. It’s going to be a bit of a family sort of day really. I’m sure we can work something out. It goes without saying that Wilma is going, but then she goes everywhere!
Alfie’s Girlfriend
Alfie is hoping that Bella will come up today and might be able to call round to see him. He can’t come to Fun Day, not only because he wouldn’t cope but because his paw is still healing. If all goes to plan Bella is going to come to see him in our garden and he’ll put his boot on so he can he outside for a little time. He hasn’t seen her for ages. It will be very special if he can see her.
He is going to have his bandage changed again this morning, but when it was changed on Thursday it seemed to be healing well.
Torn Claw
Wilma ended up having a quick trip to the vet yesterday. She had managed to split her claw and twisted it right round. It just needed to be cut really short. If it had been any of the rest of us then we’d have sat nice and quietly and let our Mistress cut it for us. Not Wilma. Despite the fact there was no real pain involved in the procedure it took three of them to hold her and she is very strong and determined when she doesn’t want to do something!

Oh what a shame you can’t be here. Of course, Bernie is not your brother but Amigo is and Dixie is your sister, so it would have been fun for you to see them.
