Bots
When I say ‘Bots’ for once I am not talking about my bottom problems. We are fed up with bots. Our websites keep crashing because bots are constantly trying to get onto them. Our Mistress is tearing her hair out and trying to understand what is good and what is bad. In the meantime if you have a problem, we’re really sorry but we are working on it. I felt quite pleased that one of my own posts from two years ago was getting so much attention. Now we are wondering why it is. It turns out it isn’t that I have more fans than Alfie, which I have to say was very disappointing news.
Now we do have friends in lots of countries, but sadly we also seem to have some people in countries like Russia intent on causing a problem. I’d just like to say to them – we’re dogs. We aren’t making money from this. We aren’t about to undermine your country and while Alfie is the leader of a political party, it doesn’t have as much influence as you seem to think. However, if you do want to help us get elected then we’d much rather you just emailed us and said so.
Alfie
Alfie is feeling very sorry for himself at the moment. He is going to have to have another operation to remove a lump from his paw. He hoped it was just another of his fatty lumps, but it turns out it isn’t. Our Mistress thinks he might have another tooth abscess too as his face is a bit swollen and his eye is sore. To be honest, he’s a bit miserable and telling us all about it, which is now driving us all mad.
On the bright side we’re all hoping he’s going to get chance to see his girlfriend in a few weeks, which would be very special. He hasn’t seen her for ages. I do hope he remembers her.

We are sorry to hear that Alfie is not too well again. I am not sure what is happening here today. I have heard I am having a long walk early followed by my beagle mate a little later. Then my Mum is going to be glued to the TV watching the wedding. My Dad has the right idea and is going out with his mates for the day – not watching football. He has the right idea!!! There is promise of another walk when all the ceremonial business is finished, so all in all not too bad. I do not know much about weddings, do you? Sending woofs and love to you all Dickens XXXX
Don’t even talk to me about the wedding. I was willing to spend all day cuddled up on the settee, but no, our Mistress is serving tea and coffee in the village hall this morning and insisting on walks this afternoon. What does a dog have to do to get a lazy cuddly day around here?
