Infection
On balance, Aristotle is delighted to find that all he has is an infection. Of course, he’s embarrassed about it and fed up of all our jokes about how he might have got it, but at least he will be ok eventually. The vet is sending off a sample to find out a little more about it in case it needs a different type of antibiotics. In the meantime our suggestions that that particular part of him is about to fall off seem to be wearing a little thin and he has asked us to leave him alone.
I suppose teasing him is just taking my mind off my paw hurting. Our Mistress keeps telling me to leave it alone, especially after she’s put cream on it. You know what it’s like though. The more someone tells you not to do something, the more you want to do it.
Removals
Our Master being away in Switzerland is feeling ever more real. Our Mistress is seeing a removal company next week who will be taking some of our belongings over to where he will be living. I asked if my bed would be going, but thankfully that isn’t on the list. Some of our pictures will be going though so that our Master doesn’t forget what we all look like. Our Mistress says there is no point buying extra stuff if they don’t need to, but some things will have to be got over there. She has been trying to understand the Swiss Ikea site. Given how hard she has been finding it, it’s a good job their instructions on how to build their furniture are all just pictures and not words! It does rather help that they sell exactly the same designs in each country.
Have a great Tuesday

Hi Alfie, good to hear from you. So pleased to hear that Ari will be OK once he gets his tablets sorted out. Well we had a better night hear so everyone is feeling good this morning. I will be on guard duty today as the window cleaner is coming! Lots of love Dickens XX
Those window cleaners are tricky fellows. We try and cover the house from all angles. It can be very loud. You do a good job there Dickens

Glad Aristotle’s problem isn’t serious. Sorry you have a sore paw Alfie. How did you get that? Sending more cuddles hoping they help. Have a lovely day all of you. xxxxxx
I don’t know really. Sometimes these things just happen. Then you lick them and it gets worse. Our Mistress says I’m a good patient, so hopefully she will have me sorted soon.
