Alfie’s MRI Scan – Tuesday 20th February 2018

Alfie’s MRI Scan

Today’s the day. Mum got to the point where she cannot bear how miserable Alfie is so rang for an appointment for him. He has to go this morning and will have his MRI scan so they can decide what he needs doing. It’s going to be a stressful day as Mum will leave him there and then either collect him this afternoon or if he has an operation then it will be tomorrow. We are all hoping it is just being caused by his teeth as that would be a much easier operation.

It’s going to be a long day with Mum worrying! I’ve promised to be on paw to give her some love, but she said she really just wants to be able to stay with Alfie and be there for him.

Sunday morning snuggles

I thought you’d like to see this picture from Sunday afternoon when Mum and I decided to have a snuggle on the settee. I’m really good at snuggling. It’s one of the things I do best. I do seem to have given Mum a slight black eye at some point but I don’t actually remember exactly how I did that. Thankfully she doesn’t either, so there is a possibility it wasn’t me, but the chances of that are slim. I do have a habit of being a bit energetic.

My Crufts Entry

My Crufts entry arrived yesterday. It’s real. I’m on my way. There are not many of us in our classes this year and as the winner will go through to the main group stage, and be on television, I want to try really really hard. Oh can you imagine how exciting that would be? It wouldn’t be Mum on television with me as Basil’s human will be taking me in the ring, but I so want to do it. I’d have to beat some other very good looking dogs first so it won’t be easy. Some of them get much more practice than me too, so I guess they will probably do well, but I can dream.

    • Mum says it’s going to be a very long day waiting to hear how he is. He was being very good when she left him. We’ll let you know.
