Wednesday 1st November 2017 – A big month

Me feeling much better

November is a big month in our family. Of course you probably think I’m referring to my twelfth birthday which is now less than two weeks away. I do think that’s important, but it’s not the only reason it will be a big month. Four days after my birthday is Grandpa’s 92nd birthday which is an even bigger event than me making it to the age of 12. Even in human years mine will only be 84 the same as Granny. It will take me another year and a bit to catch up with Grandpa.

What I really meant, was it’s our Mistress’s first ever book launch party. On Wednesday November 15th at 7pm in Waterstones in York it will be the official party to launch New York Orphan. If you can make it then you’ll get a free glass of wine, be able to hear all about the book and buy a signed copy. Places are limited, so do let us know if you are coming. When I say ‘us’, I really mean our Mistress as even though with my new tablets I’m doing much better I don’t think I will be allowed to go.

There are quite a lot of other things going on this month too, including Wilma going to London to represent me in a meet up the Top UK Pet Bloggers. Which reminds me, our Mistress was interviewed about me writing my diary by the people who gave us the award. You can find the interview HERE I’m not absolutely sure I understand why it was our Mistress answering the questions and not me, but sometimes you just have to accept that humans take the credit for the things we dogs do. Annoying as it is, we’re far too loyal to complain too much.

Have a lovely day

Alfie
