Tuesday 25th July 2017 – Happy Birthday to Me!

It’s my birthday. I’m two today. Happy birthday to my brothers and sisters too. I hope you all have lovely days. I think I may be going on a steam train today but I’m waiting to see what the weather is like. I thought you’d like to see a picture of me wearing my brand new dressing gown. I’m thinking of wearing it all day, although I might be too warm if it is like yesterday.

We had a quiet day with Mum yesterday. Dad took the teenagers off to a water park, but we said we didn’t want to go. We were happy to chill out after the excitement of yesterday. I sat gazing out of the window and watched a fox go past. He just sauntered across the garden. I didn’t make a sound, so as not to disturb him. He was really rather cute. The dog from the neighbouring property came round a couple of times and we did bark at him. He’s a big soft Golden Retriever who is really calm, so I was trying to get him to play with me. Shadow was just trying to tell him to go away as she didn’t want to play.

It was lovely hearing from my birth Mama in Switzerland yesterday too. You can see what she said in yesterday’s comments, telling me about my brother Shaggy. I didn’t know he was my half-brother. She told me about one of my nephews who needs a new home too. He’s only eleven months old but his humans have to move to live in New York and can’t take him. I feel really sad for him. Mum says if he can’t find a home in Switzerland then maybe he could come to England. We’ll have to wait and see.

Have a lovely day

Wilma
