Saturday 24th September 2016 – Win Free Discover Dogs Tickets

dd-4

Today we have two pairs of tickets for Discover Dogs to give away absolutely free. This is your chance to meet 200 breeds of dog, watch agility at the highest level, see the semi-final of Scrufts and best of all shop for lots of lovely presents for your four legged friends. In case you’ve forgotten it’s on October 22nd and 23rd from 10am to 5pm in the Excel Arena, London. Each pair of tickets is worth around £30 so winning them would be great! All you need to do for a chance to win is answer the following question and then email your answer, together with your name and address to me, Aristotle, at alfie@alfiedog.me.uk (Alfie won’t let me have my own email, but I’m not bitter about it!) Right the question is: Which country does our breed come from? Now, you need to send me your answers by midday British Summer Time next Friday, 30th September. Then I’ll tell you next Saturday who the lucky winners are. If you want to send me details and a picture of your four-legged friend too then even if you don’t win, I’ll see if Alfie will let me include some of them on the blog.

I know you’ll want to know how Alfie is too. He’s had his stitches out and after eating 3 bandages in 24 hours he’s now bandage free too, although the wounds are quite deep so he needs to be careful to keep them clean. As long as they are healing all right by after the weekend he won’t need to go back to the vet or have any more antibiotics. He still has to wear his cone for a while, but he says in the scheme of things he can live with that if he has to. He will of course start moaning about that in a day or so when he’s forgotten he’s relieved to have the other bits removed!
