One of my wonderful friends out there recommended I might like to try Golden Paste for the inflammation in my leg. Given I’ll try anything once I got our Mistress to order some for me. I tried it for the first time… and last time yesterday. Unfortunately, it made me sick. I was very disappointed as having read about it I thought it might well help. It contains a number of natural ingredients like turmeric, but sadly I don’t seem to be a natural sort of dog. I did manage a good walk yesterday, so it’s not as bad as it was. I just need to be careful.
Alfie on the other paw is a bit worried about his follow up visit to the vet on Monday. The lump on his paw has not gone down and now our Mistress has found two more on the knee on the same leg. He’s hoping they are just benign lumps, but he’s feeling a bit anxious. Once injury has been completely ruled out he is hoping to get back to playing ball, which he’s very much looking forward to.
With Discover Dogs at the Excel arena in London coming up, the lovely people at the Kennel Club have asked if we’d like to run a competition to win a pair of free tickets to go to the show. Of course we said some of you lovely people would like to go, so yes please. You’ll get chance to meet some of my friends and family, which will of course be the most important part. Anyway, over the next couple of weeks or so we’ll tell you more about what’s happening and then a little nearer the time we’ll have a competition for you to enter to win a pair of tickets. So you can put it in your diary, it’s on the 22nd and 23rd October.

What a shame Ari, about the golden paste! But, if I’m not mistaken, I think it can be used externally as well! I’ve always heard that one made it at home, cos one of my closest friends uses it all the time – I didn’t know one could buy it. Please could you ask your Mistress where she found it? Our Mistress bought it from Amazon for me. I was sick again this morning, so now she’s not sure if that was the cause. I’ll ask her to rub it on instead, but I don’t think she’s keen on that idea.

It was definitely one to eat, Granny. It said put it on my food. I think our Mistress is trying to avoid it as it can kill parasites too.
