Oh this is so exciting. All the others have been part of proper photography sessions with the family and there are some great portraits of them all on the walls at home. Now I’m having my picture drawn by a friend of Mum. He’s going to work from a photograph so I need to decide which is my best expression ready to send to him. Mum wants one of me smiling. She says I often look very serious in photographs and it would be nice if I could give a broad smile. I just can’t wait. I’ll show you of course when it’s done.
We went for a very long walk yesterday across the fields towards the next village. Mum said it used to be hers and Megan’s favourite walk. We didn’t go as far as they used to go as Shadow said she was tired and would we mind turning round. Of course we didn’t mind. It’s far more fun walking together than it would be on my own and I do enjoy Shadow’s company. She does get a bit tired now and says that getting older is quite frustrating for her. When she got back I think she might have drunk too much too quickly too as she was sick!
It was fun walking along the path through a field of wheat, or it may have been barley. I can’t remember which Mum said was which as they looked quite similar to me. Normally we walk at the side of the field but the path went right through the middle. Mum was telling me about when the field has corn in it and it’s taller than she is. There is a Maize Maze locally that would be really fun to go to. I’ve checked and dogs can go so now I’m asking if she will take me one day.

Wow, me too. My human Kathryn is arranging my portrait and Sasha’s.
But we have to wait our turn as this guy, Mark, has lots of commissions ahead of ours to do.
It’s exciting isn’t it? It will be fun to compare them when they’re done. Don’t forget to smile.
