I swear it wasn’t me that started it. I didn’t like the way the Doberman looked at me. He had a menacing look and I wanted to make sure he didn’t come any closer. Ok, so I have a very loud bark and am very strong, but our Mistress was not happy with me as apparently I came over as being aggressive. Would you credit me? Mild mannered little old me who wouldn’t hurt a fly! (I’ll leave out the wouldn’t hurt a rabbit or other small rat like creatures as clearly on past performance I probably would). Anyway, our Mistress is still stronger than me so I was hauled off in the other direction with her saying she’d be tightening my harness slightly to make sure there was no risk of me slipping out of it, which was her biggest concern as she was hauling! She suspects that my bark could probably be heard from half a mile away but I didn’t want to leave the Doberman in any doubt that I didn’t want him looking at me like that again in future. I think if I’m a being honest I was just getting a bit of frustration out of my system. My Mistress spent some time talking to my girlfriend’s human yesterday about what to expect when Bella goes to meet a stud dog soon. Can you imagine what it’s like having to listen to people talking about your girlfriend like that? Just because I can’t give her puppies she’s going off to a dog that can. Oh I know she’ll still love me afterwards and this is only a one or two night stand, but a boy really feels these things. It’s not like I’ve ever been unfaithful to her. She’s the only dog I’ve ever loved. It’s upsetting, that’s all I’m saying.
