Wednesday 29th July 2015 – Well done Shadow and Max

Yesterday was another success for Shadow and Max. Shadow got her progesterone test result from Monday and it was 9.6, which probably meant that she was quite right in saying she thought she ovulated on Sunday. Anyway, when she and Max saw each other they decided to get on with things right away and all went very well. Shadow was very happy by the end of it and then spent the days with her paws up while our Mistress started the drive home. It was a good job all had gone well with Shadow as at least our Mistress was still in a good mood when they met with a major traffic jam on the motorway and lost an hour and a half in stationary traffic. That’s bad at the best of times but when you’ve got 400 miles to go before bed it is particularly annoying.  By the time they got to the hotel tempers were becoming a little frayed and then the ‘free wireless internet’ didn’t work after the first five minutes so they were really fed up. There wasn’t time to do much more than go to bed and start again today. I’m just hoping their journey improves today and they are back safe and sound soon. I was going to bring you a picture of Shadow’s boyfriend Max, but she couldn’t email it to me so it will have to wait until Shadow is home.  Shadow said she was passing the time on the journey trying to think of all the names she likes which begin with the letter D. She says she has loads of ideas ready in case she has boys but is struggling for girls names except Della and Dixie. She can think of loads she doesn’t want to use, but she says we’ll all have to sit down together and see what we can come up with.
