Well after Aristotle got to tell you the good news it seems I get to tell you the not so good news. Shadow went to see the stud dog again yesterday but it was just like Christmas and although it is a different dog he was not interested and preferred to play in his paddling pool. Our Mistress says that tells her that Shadow’s progesterone cannot be right and although everything seemed good on Saturday it will take more than that for her to be pregnant. She has not given up hope but it may mean she is not home quite so soon as we hoped. The plan for today is for her to have another progesterone test and to have her passport stamped ready to come home, and then later in the day to go to see the stud dog again. Then tomorrow when she gets the result of the test our Mistress will discuss with Shadow if they need to stay another day or whether they need to come home. I’m crossing my paws that everything starts working, it is so important to all of us. This is a photo of

Shadow was very down yesterday after things didn’t work out and our Mistress did all she could to cheer her up, but the real thing she wants is for the stud dog to tell her everything is ok and of course he can only do that if it is. She said she even thought a passing Jack Russel was interesting when she went out to go to the toilet, but I told her that was a really bad idea. I know I’m biased with having a personal vendetta against all Jack Russels but even so they do bark too much.
