Ok, it’s all happening. Shadow’s season started yesterday after I’d posted my diary. It was so funny. Our Mistress had gone ahead and emailed a reproduction vet for an appointment only for Shadow to start twelve hours later. Anyway, plans are in place and rolling and they will set off for Switzerland next Monday. In fairness to Shadow she has managed to pick quite a reasonable time between some activities. Today is my Master and Mistress’s wedding anniversary and our Mistress is quite pleased to be here for it. Shadow is going to have a progesterone test on Monday morning before they set off and will get the result the following day while they are travelling. She may have another when she gets there depending on what it says. At least it means that any puppies will not be born on Ari’s birthday but a few days later. I of course am not looking forward to being without our Mistress for a week or so, but on the bright side she won’t need to go away without me after this for a long time. This will be Shadow’s final litter so we really hope everything goes well.
On a completely different subjects you might like to vote in a survey being run by Sainsbury’s Bank HERE. They want to know which are best, dogs or cats. Now I know that you and I think the answer to that is obvious, but there may be people out there who don’t know the correct answer to the question. There is a prize £250 to spend in Sainsbury’s if you win – and I will forgive you if you spend just a little of it on me.
I’ve had to go swimming two weeks running. I fell downstairs the day after I fell upstairs so our Mistress thought a good swim might do me good. I really must learn to pick my feet up or I’m going to be swimming far too often!
