We’re having a photo shoot this afternoon and I am so excited. Our Mistress wants a photo of me and her to match the one she has with Alfie. Shadow’s planning to spend the whole day making herself look beautiful as she’s having some special pictures with our Master and with Andy. I guess she’ll get one with our Mistress too, but that’s not what she’s excited about. Alfie is taking it all in his stride as he’s a veteran of the photo shoot and is a bit concerned that he’s going to look his age. He is pleased he had the wart removed from his nose though as at least he looks pretty good for being 9½.
Our Mistress has been lecturing me in how to behave and that I must not get too excited and spoil it. As if I would ever get over-excited and forget myself! She’s mistaking me for another puppy who never grew up.
I have been so loving our sunny walks this week. I really don’t want it to be rainy. Our Mistress even said walking with me was like it used to be with Megan and I know that’s a real compliment. We trot along together very amiably, well it’s me that trots our Mistress just walks quite fast. She says it’s a shame I can’t walk further as we could go on long walks together. I said I was willing to try, which she said was very sweet of me, but she hates it when I start limping and she can’t carry me. I suppose she could take my stroller for me to get in when I get tired, but she’s worried that if we are anywhere hilly that might a) be hard work and b) end in disaster!
