Wednesday 1st April 2015 – The Election is really under way now

Today would have been a much better day for the General Election to be called. It could have been one big April Fool’s joke. Of course, some might dismiss the Pet Dogs Democratic Party along the same lines, but I can assure you that we’re deadly serious. I know I might smile a lot, but then most politicians do (and at lease mine is genuine!) but I’ve never been regarded as a flippant dog; never the practical joker. Oh I might think of playing jokes on Aristotle (he’d be a soft target and would take it in good spirit) but I’ve never actually done it. No I tend to take life a little more seriously and as such should be regarded as a genuine option in the forthcoming election. Some might argue that they don’t want dogs governing the country as they are not human and we might not do things that are in their interests. I say that makes us little different to the SNP, not that I’m saying they are dogs you understand, but they aren’t English and might not do what’s best for the English part of the country. Of course if I say that too loudly it might just encourage more Scots to votes for them as their practical joke on England. Before you know it we’re going to have the rest of the country begging them to be independent so that they are not making decisions that adversely affect the rest of us. Anyway, the real campaigning is underway and if you haven’t already done so it would be a good time to watch our Party Political Broadcast.

We haven’t been given television airtime, which is a travesty, but in this modern age, reaching out to you through YouTube shows what a progressive party we are.
