Well hello again. This is the first chance I’ve had to tell you my side of the story from Fun Day. Whatever was suggested about only being induced into good behaviour for a biscuit, it’s not true. I was good. You ask my Mistress. When she was setting everything up I wasn’t on my lead at all and just followed her around like the good puppy I am. I didn’t get into any disagreements with the other dogs, except snapping at one of them when he hadn’t taken any notice when I asked him nicely to back off. But I only did it enough to stop him and not to even get hold of him. You’ll be pleased to know he did get the message that time. It’s hard when you have been neutered to have a dog who’s still got all his bits coming and sniffing at your missing doghood. It’s like they’re sneering at you. Anyway, we soon got that sorted out and we were still friends. I didn’t take part in that many games. Every time I shouted to my Mistress ‘come on’ someone stopped her to talk about something to do with our breed and ask her questions and then by the time she’d finished I’d missed out on the game. It wasn’t too bad, but then I didn’t win any of the games I did take part in. Shadow chided me on my catching not being up to scratch, but that was easy for her to do from the sideline and not being put to the test. I’m going to see if my Mistress will spend some time practicing biscuit catch with me so that I’m not out on the first round next time. It is embarrassing to be beaten by young puppies!
