I’m not the only Entlebucher in a book. Obviously here I’m not talking about those wonderful dogs who went before me and whose pictures appear in books about dogs. I’m talking about non-fiction books. If you cast you mind back 18 months you will remember Shadow’s B litter and a lovely puppy called Tess who was Aristotle’s best friend for the few weeks she was with us. She was a lovely little girl and I’m sure still is, but I’ve not seen her for a while. Anyway her human has written a book and used her as the main character. It’s a children’s book about starting school and helps young children to deal with some of the fears and difficulties of the first couple of days at school. Well done to Tess and her human, Bethan. Her book his HERE if you would like to take a look.
I’ve been busy writing to other radio stations and tv stations to see if they would like me to go and talk to them about my Manifesto. I’ve told them that I can take my Mistress too if they don’t want me to go on my own. I’m just hoping that they come back to me and want to include me in their shows so that I can say I’ve been on television as well.
Meanwhile at home we have a dog food mountain. I kid you not. There was a special offer on for buying our dog food when our Mistress went to Crufts so she was going to get it much cheaper. She thought she’d buy 4 bags, but as she could get one free if she bought 6, we now have 7 18kg bags of dog food. That’s a lot of dog food. By my reckoning, and I used a calculator because I ran out of paws, that’s enough to last us for 175 days! We’ve got six months dog food. I do hope it doesn’t go off!
