Well Ari moaned so much about being left without either me or Shadow next week that I have given in and will stay behind to look after him and my Master. Our Mistress will just take Shadow to Crufts and I will miss out on seeing my grandparents, but you know what he’s like and he just isn’t used to being an only dog. He’s promised to be good and nice to me all week, but I have my doubts about him keeping that up much past Wednesday afternoon and they’re only setting off in the morning! He’s also promised to try really hard for the extra photographs we need to take for my broadcast. I wasn’t happy with everything thing we did last weekend and there is now more on the cutting room floor than there is still being considered. I’m going to get him to pose for some still photographs of the key actions and he says he’ll be able to do that more easily as he won’t be as nervous. I might actually appear in a few of the shots myself given that’s it’s easier to direct and star in a still photo than in a video. I’m just trying to decide where we get the most natural light to get the best results and Ari is getting together the props we need. Shadow has been in a bit of a mood asking what has happened to the game of fetch she was promised and I’ve reassured her that subject to the garden being dry enough that will still go ahead on Saturday as planned. We don’t want her slipping on the mud and getting injured – she might try claiming against me and that would never be good. It will all come together one way or another. At least if I’m not away next week I’ve got a little more time to work on it.
