I’m having a launch party for my book and you’re all invited. It’s now official the Pet Dogs Democratic Party will launch its manifesto and open to membership on Monday 9th March. My launch party is going to be virtual so you can all attend. You’ll even be able to ask the party leader questions (that’s me!). There will be some competitions and you’ll be able to win free party membership. I will remind you nearer the time, but I’m excited so had to tell you about it.
It’s swimming day today. That is going to be a really tough thing to do as it means leaving the house when I feel I should be here watching what the builders are doing. I know that they have it all under control really, it’s just that I thought I should be on paw in case they had any questions. Aristotle was totally unimpressed to be shipped off to kennels and was shouting out of the car as he left that he really should be here to ‘help’. It has been quite hard concentrating on finishing the script for my Party Political Broadcast with men working in the background. I even contemplated going upstairs out of the way, but my Mistress didn’t want to do that and I hate going without her.
The weather is really feeling like spring. Our Mistress is even wondering if she should take the winter tyres off yet. She originally thought she’d do it at the end of this month, but it just hasn’t been a cold winter. I guess if she took them off the weather would immediately turn cold. It’s the way life seems to work. Up there somewhere is a supreme ruler who has a perverse sense of humour, exercised mainly at the expense of the rest of us! Or maybe that’s all done by the one ‘down there’!
