Aristotle writes:
As I mentioned yesterday, I’m going to give you an update on how all my brothers and sisters are doing. This is really exciting for me as I don’t get to see them very often. First up we have Addie. Addie (Adrienne) is my full sister, so she’s three years old too. She lives way up in the very north of Scotland so a long way from here… a long way from anyway really, unless you’re starting from John ‘o Groats in which case she’s just down the road! Addie qualified for Crufts last year, but then wasn’t able to go as her human wasn’t able to travel due to a shoulder injury. It was a real shame because she’s very good looking. This photo was taken last week, but she’s moulting so she isn’t looking her very best in it.
This is how her human describes her: “Addie is a bossy little madam but the most caring and loveable pet I’ve ever had.” (She should live with our mum, Ed.)
She’s always waiting for me at the front door when I come home from work, usually barking telling me off for leaving without her. (I do that too, Ed.)
When we are together her favourite place is beside me either laying her head on my leg or leaning against me. (Yep, she’s an Entlebucher! Ed.)
She loves to play ball, or tug, or make the toy squeak ’til it’s dead, stuffing will be everywhere.
She’s a very healthy young lady with a healthy appetite; unfortunately for her that means she’s on a strict diet as she’d eat anything not nailed down and is a committed counter surfer. (Way to go, Sis. Ed)
EMDs may not be for everyone but she’s my little girl and I love her dearly.”
Isn’t that lovely. I’m not sure what she means that we’re not for everyone. How can any human not want a 25kg bundle of solid muscle bounding up to them every time they come into the room? Anyway, Addie, it sounds like you landed on your feet in choosing your human. Glad you’re doing so well. Love from Mum and Me (and the rest of the crew).
