Well I don’t know about you, but I didn’t want to go for a walk yesterday. That’s two days running that it has rained heavily for most of the day. At this rate we’ll be back to flooding before you know it. I got out of the car and walked about 200 metres before looking starting to drag my paws and say I wanted to turn round. I’ve worked out that if I start looking very carefully for a particular blade of grass to chew, my Mistress will very soon get the message that I do not want to go in a forwardly direction and she will very quickly relent. To be fair, my back has been hurting again, so it’s not just about the weather. Ari was happy to walk, although he was happy to turn round and go home as well and with Shadow it’s as though she doesn’t even notice the water coming down and wonders what all the fuss is about. At least it’s warmed up a bit again.
My Mistress tried playing her keyboard yesterday for the first time in a very long time. She was rusty, but she went back to the very first learning book and it was coming back to her quite quickly so it didn’t sound too bad for too long. She’s going to see if her hand swells up. She thinks there is a possibility that it is doing rather better. The treatment she is trying for her allergies seems to be having lots of other positive effects including reducing the inflammation in her hand. She doesn’t think she will be able to do as much as she used to do, but she is excited about the possibility that she might be able to play again. It’s keeping her out of mischief!
