As you may have realised by now, the clocks changed in the UK yesterday. I was sleeping with my Master and Mistress and they had remembered to change the clocks. Shadow was sleeping with Andy and she had not changed the clocks in there. So at 6am she bounced into life and expected my Mistress and me… and Ari to get up to keep her entertained. My Mistress was none too pleased and has asked if Shadow would mind not repeating the experience this morning.
I’m now on anti-inflammatories on a regular basis and I have to say it is having some effect. When we went for a walk yesterday, after only two days on them, I didn’t ask to turn round and go back to the car after the usual short distance. I would have been happy to have gone further, but on this occasion my Mistress had had enough and turned for home. It will be interesting to see if it is still as effective when I reduce the dose I am on.
My Mistress is still slowly adding different foods back into her diet. She says she’s really enjoying eating different things again, but it isn’t helping her diet. She managed to find some completely plain Tortilla chips in Tesco. She says they are wonderful…until you read the packet with regards to how many calories are in them. Then they don’t look quite so good at all. She is being very restrained and only having 5 chips with each lunch. I’ve offered to help, but she didn’t think that was a good idea either.
This is a picture of Bruce – he was one of our competition winners – well more to the point his human was. I don’t think he will be able to go to Discover Dogs, but perhaps he would enjoy it if he could.
