Thursday 23rd October 2014 – Still time to enter

Apparently I’m getting annoying. Having spent ages not wanting to go out and then being eager for walks again, I went through another phase of not wanting to walk but have now moved into the annoying phase of not wanting our Mistress to leave the house without me. It doesn’t matter where she’s going I want to be there. We were inseparable when I was a puppy and I guess I’m just trying to recapture some of that lost youth.  I’ve taken to going and sitting outside by the car so that she doesn’t forget me and she’s such a soft touch that she usually says yes. I’m not big on the whole walking thing, but have been doing a little better on that front, but I do like just being with her, even if she was only going to the Post Office to send some books out. She says when she was only planning to be out for fifteen minutes it is adding time getting me harnessed and into the car, but it means I can keep an eye on her, so I’m sure she’ll forgive me.

There was one casualty in the high winds earlier in the week. My Mistress was sitting at her desk when she heard a crash and the sound of something breaking. Her first thought was that it was a roof tile, but thankfully it turned out to be her mini-greenhouse (plastic) which had come away from the wall and was heading for her car. It didn’t hit her car, but the plant pots inside it had smashed – but they are easy to replace… except the nice ones that were presents!
