Not such a good day today certainly not from D’Artagnan point of view. This morning was spent in the New York library and our Mistress was so busy that he didn’t even get to come out of the bag to have his photo taken. She ran out of time for the work she needed to do, but said she got some got material for what there was time for. It was like waiting for a closing down sale, being in the queue to get into the library before it opened. She was not alone, there were a couple of hundred people waiting to go in at 10am. When they finished she had to go to the airport and fly to Denver. It was not a good flight and she was very unhappy on it. The fasten seat belt sign was on almost the whole journey because of storms and she found the turbulence very worrying. D’Artagnan did his bit to look after her and she said that having him there definitely helped. The flight nearly didn’t go to Denver at all. Because of the weather it nearly went to Colorado Springs instead, which would have added complication. As it was they landed an hour late. By the time she arrived to collect her hire car it was 9.30 at night and if it had not been for the constant lightning it would have been dark. She got soaked getting to her car and isn’t great driving in the dark. So wrong side of the road, lightning, roads she didn’t know – she wasn’t a happy driver. At least she only got beeped once and that was because she turned where I don’t think she was supposed to. She eventually arrived at her hotel for the night and was very tired.
D’Artagnan said as there was no new photo of him, could I post this one that was taken of him yesterday.
