Friday 11th April 2014 – A dog with 4 tails

If Ari was a dog with 2 tails seeing Tess, then Megan can only be described as being like a dog with 4 tails seeing my Master and Mistress. She was ecstatic. She is already asking if she can come home with them, but wasn’t happy with the answer. She has to stay to mate with Rino and hopefully have puppies. My Mistress says she will talk to her about coming home then and she needs to talk to me too!

Ari was not feeling so great when I talked to him. He did have his ectopic ureter test, but found the sedation all a bit disorientating and wasn’t feeling so good afterwards. He had to have a catheter inserted so they could give him fluids and a special drug that makes everything work. Afterwards he had an upset tummy and despite not being able to have breakfast he didn’t feel like eating his tea. I do hope he feels better today as he is going to see his dad this afternoon. He didn’t even feel like playing with Megan when he saw her. Get well soon Aristotle.

My Mistress said the view from their hotel room over the lake and mountain is lovely and it is such a shame that Aristotle doesn’t feel like sitting out on the balcony enjoying it. She is worrying about him, but he’ll be fine before she knows it.

I’m not sure what I think about the idea that Megan may come back to live with us. I suppose she has been away long enough to have grown up a bit more and maybe she wouldn’t be so mean to me. It’s a lot to think about for a dog. I suppose we’ll have to wait to see if she is pregnant first. If she isn’t then it’s a whole different story.

  1. Good to hear about Megan. My Entlebucher Winston has had to stay in Switzerland (where he is having a great time)
to comply with Australian quarentine Regulations as we have relocated to Australia. I have had a nagging worry
that he will forget about us- he joins us at the end of June after 180 days. From your discription it sounds like Megan had forgotten nothing. Hopefully Winston will be the
    same.
Love your writing – and the blog

    regards

    Lisa

    • Thank you. He really won’t forget you. He will be as happy to see you as you are of him. He may be the first one of us in Australia. We tried to find if there were any a while ago but no one knew of any. Let us know how he gets on.
