T minus 2
What I forgot to tell you yesterday is that Casanova is the first puppy to pee outside. When he went on the grass yesterday he had a quick sniff, realised the other dogs had peed there and joined in. It was a good start and he was given a lot of praise. He was probably completely confused as to why he was being praised but it was a start.
It is lovely to see how they have advanced in the last couple of days and if it weren’t for the fact they were leaving this week they would really need a bigger area to run and play in. They all play together nicely. Cuddles doesn’t always join in the mass games of tug, because when she does she just gets pulled in whichever direction the others are going. We’ll be lucky if the soft toys survive the next few days. I think my Mistress may rescue one or two of them before it’s too late. There are still rope toys they can play tug with instead.
Our water supply is off today. My Mistress has asked them all if they would mind doing all their pooing early on so she can clean up and wash her hands. It’s going to be a bit difficult with no water to wash in after that. I know she’s planning to leave some in a bowl, but that will get pretty unpleasant if she’s not careful. They made short work of breakfast this morning so it has to come out the other end sooner or later.
