I don’t know what Chekov was dreaming yesterday but he suddenly woke up, barked and then shook his head as though he hadn’t a clue what it was all about before going back to sleep.
It was almost light when we got up this morning but half an hour later the storm clouds came back and it was dark again. At least the only casualty seems to have been the wheelie bins blowing over so nothing that mattered. I hope you all got on ok too. We are concerned that if the weather doesn’t improve soon it’s going to be hard for Cuddles to get to her new home in Northern Ireland at the end of next week. We’ll just have to wait to see.
This morning’s photos show Cosette running off with one of the food bowls so she can have it all to herself. Meanwhile two of the others are finding a great game in trying to climb into the hole that Cosette’s bowl left behind.
The puppies had a very quiet night but are now very lively this morning. My Mistress had to go in to clear up some pooh and nearly lost her pyjama bottoms to them altogether. She was forced to retreat before she had retrieved the final lot and given how they are playing goodness knows what is going to happen to that lot! They seem very pleased to have Heffalump back. He was supposed to go through the wash so my Mistress had put it on the side but one of Shadow or Ari had walked off with it in the meantime and put it in the bed in the office. My Mistress had forgotten about it and it came to light yesterday afternoon. The puppies behaved as though they had been reunited with a long lost friend!
