You would not believe how traumatised we all were yesterday when our internet connection stopped working for 3 hours. It’s not as though we get a mobile phone signal in our house. We were bereft. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to bring you the updates I had promised. Thankfully it was short lived and just when my Mistress was contemplating driving to MacDonalds for free wi-fi it came back.
Today is Shadow’s birthday – happy birthday Shadow. She’s five today. My Mistress went all soft on her and bought her one of the beds just like mine as she said after producing such lovely puppies she deserved it. So today’s photo is Shadow enjoying her new bed.
Yesterday you would not believe how excited my Mistress got when she observed each puppy in turn producing a perfectly formed poo. The crazy thing was that the only one she could not catch in the act was the very one she knew had been unwell. So she is still giving Cosette the pro-biotics, but given there has been no more runny poo it is fair to say that is merely a precaution.
Cinderella thoroughly enjoyed seeing one of her humans yesterday. She was told about all the exciting presents waiting for her. What puppy wouldn’t be happy in those circumstances? It is now less than two weeks until she will set off to her new home. I’m going to have to find something else to write about and we’re all going to have to find something other than puppies to talk about after they leave.
The puppies have reached the raptor stage when you hear all sorts of shouts from my Mistress when she goes in to clean out new loads of poo. They start attaching themselves to her legs as they try to climb up her for a cuddle or to play with her. Six against one is a really bad ratio!
I did manage to do you a video of them all trying to eat at closer range – you can see that here http://youtu.be/6c7HDl0tVIg
