I need to forewarn you that there will be no video tomorrow. My Mistress has to go out for the day and although our friend is going to be here instead she won’t be able to help me with the camera. Normal service will be resumed on Friday.
Shadow is very excited about tomorrow. It is her birthday and it will be the first one she has been able to celebrate surrounded by so many of her children. Obviously she has had ones with Aristotle but he doesn’t really count.
Chekov and Cuddle had learnt to twist my Mistress round their little paws. They both cry an ear piercing howl when they want a cuddle and to be taken out of the pen for a while. Aristotle used to do it when he was tiny. It’s a good job that she can’t decide they both get to stay here too – the house would be crazy! Grandpa fell in love with Chekov too. He’s that sort of dog. He’s very gentle and laid back and just loves to be cuddled. Cuddles is like that too but a bit more of a wriggle bottom. She really does need less sleep than the others and then gets fed up when there is no one t to play with.
The main after effect of the upset tummies seems to have been that despite a bit supper, the puppies all wanted feeding again at 3am. You can imagine how enthusiastic my Mistress was about that, after getting a number of unbroken night’s sleep! At least we have the consolation that everyone seems ok!
Today’s photo shows them at the 6 puppy feeding station. They still try to share a bowl though!
