The puppies are beginning to meet so many new experiences. They are trying semi solid food, but as yet with little success. Last night my Mistress topped them all up with bottle feeding just to make sure she had a good night’s sleep and frankly I can’t blame her.
They have spent a little time in the big pen. After a while they quite liked it and began to snuggle up to some of the toys. They will be moving up there on a full time basis tomorrow I think. Then we got chance to meet them. I held back. I didn’t want to risk getting in the way of Aristotle meeting his siblings. He on the other paw was overjoyed and hopefully in the next couple of days we can bring you some photos of him with them. At the moment my Mistress is too busy watching to make sure all is well to want to take photos at the same time. They had their first visitors yesterday and have their second lot this morning. They were cool with the visitors – they are already so used to being picked up and cuddled that they are happy to receive affection from anyone. They actually had a lovely time yesterday and Cinderella in particular was excited as they were her future humans. She was so proud explaining to the others that they were her people and she looked so happy snuggled up to them.
We have the beginnings of little teeth coming through now too, which is not going to be so much fun for Shadow. She is very keen for them to move onto solids but they will in their own time and not anyone else’s.
