Before I tell you about the pups, I’d like to send our thoughts and love to our friend Elsie. We’re all thinking of you and hoping your present troubles will soon be at an end.
We’re all quite tired here. It seems no sooner do I say that Shadow has milk again than it dries up. My Mistress was up rather a lot last night feeding the puppies. It seemed no sooner did she get to the end of the line than she had to start again at the other. Her arms look as though they have been shredded by tiny puppy claws, which of course they have. She’s going back to bed for a while but is then going to ring the vet to see if they will clip all the claws. It is something that my Mistress still doesn’t feel very confident in doing. She is terrified she would cut too far and hurt them. I said that as long as she remembered to take her glasses off she should be able to see ok!
They are starting to sleep in some very odd positions. It’s funny, they all seem to do that at this age.
Weigh in will be interesting to see just how much progress we have made and which puppies need more help.
