Shadow ate well yesterday and had lots to drink and we were hoping to see that coming through in the weight gains, but the overall gain is the same as the previous day. She seems less enthusiastic about eating and drinking today but is happier to be in with the puppies than she was. It is a very careful juggling act. At least all the puppies are gaining, if a little slower than we would have liked in some cases.
Chekov added 48g to reach 876g. Casanova’s gain was disappointing, adding only 28g to reach 834g. Cracker made up for Casanova adding 62g to reach 830g. Cinderella did well adding 62g to make 764g – so that’s 4 of them past the three-quarters of a kilogram mark. Cosette added 48g to make 712g and Cuddles added a respectable 50g to reach 620g. They all seem in fine spirits and in great condition.
