Casanova is ok. The vet thinks they are just benign warts, but we need to watch them caredully over the coming days. There is a viral form but he seems to have been born with them. There is also a genetic form but as he is the only one of Shadow’s puppies who has had them and Falk has sired 9 litters and we have no knowledge of any there, that would be surprising. They are likely to just disappear on their own, but we need to keep a careful eye on him in the coming days.
We found some statistics on my diary today and this year it has been read in 67 countries around the world – that is a lot of places and most of them I haven’t even visited. I think I’ve been to five, but I ran out of paws when I was counting up earlier so it’s hard to tell.
At today’s weigh in everyone is gaining nicely. Chekov is now 648g having gained 64g. Cracker is next at 602g having gained 48g. Then Cinderella at 588g having gained 40g, Casanova at 582 has gained 40g, Cosette at 548g has gained 56g and the baby of the family, Cuddles has reached 450g having gained 56g.
