Not the puppies, they aren’t here yet – my book. Alfie’s Woods is now out in paperback and what’s more it’s got my name on the cover as the author. I asked if I could have my own page on Amazon, but my Mistress said that might be going just a bit too far. You can buy it in time for Christmas HERE.
I would like to apologise to those of you who bought the ebook version before. My Mistress checked it all before bringing it out as a paperback for me and she did find quite a few comma’s in the wrong places and some punctuation missing. I hold my paw up – it’s my fault. Punctuation is not my first skill. Anyway, the new ebook is corrected as well as the paperback. If you read it, please can you leave a review on Amazon. My Mistress thinks it’s one of the best things she (we!) has written and would love it to do really well. She says that if people like Wind in the Willows then she strongly suspects they will enjoy reading Alfie’s Woods. That is unless you like toads. There are no toads in Alfie’s Woods. There is humour, emotion and lots of fun though.
Back to Shadow and I can’t help thinking how amazing it is that extra teats can appear out of nowhere – well obviously not nowhere, but 2 days ago there were 8 teats and one sort of teat further up. Now there are 9 as well as the other and maybe more starting too. I do wonder if Shadow knows more about the number of puppies than she is letting on! The whelping box was built with only a couple of mistakes first time round and is all set out. There’s still more to do but things are starting to come together.
