As I promised here are two of the pictures from Shadow’s scan last Friday. It’s a shame you can’t see the little heartbeats on here as according to Shadow seeing those was one of the best bits. She says it’s much harder looking at the still pictures to work out where everything is and be convinced she’s really looking at her puppies. She says she can certainly feel them and is getting tired already. She’s quite convinced it’s not just that she’s getting older, at just under five she claims to still be in the prime of life.
It was fortunate that the walk they went on yesterday was slower than normal as it made it possible for my Mistress to talk to her credit card company at the same time. It’s not that she normally has a chat with them, it was just that some dear person had been trying to buy over £400 of floristry equipment at her expense and if there is one thing my Mistress is unlikely to buy it is £400 of flowers. Still, I suppose it could have been worse. Last time it was £2000 of flights!
Aristotle hasn’t been too well the last couple of mornings and has been sick after breakfast. He’s been happy to eat later in the day and without ill effect. My Mistress says that he is now to be kept completely away from any chance of licking out the meat tin, which he sneaks to the kitchen to do with remarkable regularity, as she is worried it might be to do with the amount of fat he is having. She’s moved him to a low fat diet for a few days to see if it sorts itself out.
Today is my day for going swimming or at least going to watch Ari. I’m just hoping he says he feels up to it and doesn’t tell me I have to go in today.
