My Mistress says she needs a holiday. I pointed out that she would be off to Switzerland fairly soon, but she said what she had in mind was a relaxing trip somewhere sunny that she could lie on the beach. I said she’d have to dream as that wasn’t going to be happening any time soon. She’s just going to have to make do with imagining somewhere warm and sunny. Given that she spends the majority of her life in a fictional reality she could always pretend she’d gone away. I’m sure she could find a few pictures on the internet that she could send to people to pretend she was somewhere fantastic while they are all stuck at home. I wonder if she could do it without anyone actually working out that she was kidding. She does say there are times that she loses track of what is fiction and what is reality, it would only be taking the whole idea a step further.
My Mistress has sat me down and told me that my defensive barking has all got too much for her. She’s asked if we can work together to find a way to stop it happening. It’s really hard with the problems between me and Megan as we both want to be where our Mistress is but don’t want to be in the same place as each other. When I think there is a risk of her coming my way, the only thing I can do is bark. If I’m honest I think a little bit of the barking may have become a habit but have agreed to work on it. I’m not really looking forward to today as it’s my turn to have to be in the other room away from our Mistress and I don’t really like that.
