The friend who my Mistress has staying at the moment has known me since I was a puppy and is very fond of me. It’s been great having someone to talk to about all my problems who is so completely on my side. She did tell me I should try sticking up for myself a bit more, but she gave me lots of fuss and attention at the same time. When she first arrived I was a bit anxious as she smelt of her own dog, but once everyone reassured me that she hadn’t brought him to stay too I was fine.
There’s been another thing which has really cheered me up too. A friend of my Mistress has had a necklace made with the paw print of her dog embedded in the silver. My Mistress hasn’t spent the money she had for her birthday yet and decided that was what she wanted to do. She has order the kit to do a paw print from me and one from Aristotle. She’s just hoping it’s more successful than the last time she tried to get one of my paw prints which was when I was a puppy. I can still remember the coffee solution she tried to make me walk through onto the paper. We made an awful mess and failed to get a single paw print that we could do anything with. I’m sure everything will be different this time. It’s a lovely thought that she will be able to have our paw prints on a necklace that is always with her. I wondered if she would get a fingerprint one done from her that I could have on my collar so that she was always with me too. Maybe I could ask for that for my birthday.
