Sunday 28th July 2013 – An Entlebucher Day

Today could be fun as my Mistress has said that she is having an Entlebucher day. I’d like to think that means she is going spend all day with the 4 of us playing. In reality she said something about needing to get all our paperwork up to date and finishing arranging the big test that is taking place in October for those who want to breed. She is excited as yesterday she heard from someone who has just imported a puppy and that means another of our number. She’s waiting to hear who her parents are and exactly where she has come from. None of us has to go through the tests in October. They are the ones that Shadow and Megan had to go to Switzerland to do but which are being done in this country for the first time ever – as long as my Mistress pulls her finger out and finishes the organisation. The main thing she has to do is source all the very weird and wonderful things which will be needed to do the character test, such as tarpaulins, planks of wood, screens, cones etc. She also needs to tell the dogs who are doing the test what information they must send to her by the end of August. I offered to help, but she says there’s not a lot I can do unless I can find some of the things she needs lying around somewhere. I said given how much junk there is around the house that I was sure she could find some somewhere. She started clearing out one room yesterday and wondered why she was keeping videos when they haven’t got a video player set up and games for the computer that play on a size of disc they don’t have. I told her a simple ball and rubber chew toy are much better – they never go out of fashion.
