Yesterday my Mistress had a lovely email asking her if she would go on the radio next Monday. She gets to choose her favourite music for them to play and has to tell them some interesting things about herself as well as generally talking about her writing. I asked if they wanted me to go in too but she said it’s just about her work rather than mine. I think they may be missing an opportunity but what can you do?
We had another lovely walk yesterday. I seem to be a lot fitter than I used to be and despite my heart murmur have coped really well. I’ve enjoyed it, which is the important thing. We only went about 3 miles but it was far enough. I’ve reached the age where I’m happy to just potter along at my Mistress’s side. Ari has to be out in front, either that or barging one of us. I’m content just to trot along enjoying the smells and the fresh air.
My Mistress is a little concerned about what is being done next to her hand. The physio says she thinks the consultant will give her an anaesthetic into her hand and force her fingers back through their range of movement as no amount of physio is giving her the range of movement she should have. Apparently if he does it then it will be worse for a while but then should start to improve. It’s the worse for a while bit that is bothering my Mistress. She would like to be able to get back to playing more on the keyboard though as well as all the other things she can’t do at the moment so I guess she has to go through with whatever they suggest.
