It is like autumn outside, cold, blowy and miserable. Please could we have spring back I didn’t really have time to enjoy it properly before it went again?
As my Mistress doesn’t have Megan to take out she has promised to work hard with Aristotle. Round the house we are all being made to behave better but Aristotle was going to be taken for walks to improve his lead work and out of the house training. He won’t say whether it was deliberate, but they’d barely got half way down the road before he started limping and my Mistress felt really bad and had to bring him home. He needn’t think he’s got out of it. She says from today they will go out by car and find places he can be on grass to do his training. He’ll enjoy it once he sets his mind to it. He said he’d rather his training involved how to cook, but it doesn’t seem as though he’s being given that option.
My Mistress has sat down with us and said she’s got one spare bone, which one of us should have it? Apparently she bought four last time forgetting that they make Megan sick. I said she should go and buy two more so that we could each have one. Aristotle said it stood to reason that he likes bones more than any of the rest of us so he should have it. Shadow said ‘It doesn’t matter which of them you give it to, I’ll take it from them anyway.’ I think my suggestion would be fairest, it’s just that I know in any other situation I will be the one to lose out. It’s not easy being the bottom of the pack, I’m just lucky that my Mistress understands the problem.
