Sunday night was a very sleepless night for my Mistress. There I was snoring away when I should have been snuggled up to her easing her worry. For starters she was itching all over from some allergic reaction, which is never conducive to sleeping. On top of that she was worrying about her father who was due to have his pacemaker refitted yesterday. You’ll be pleased to know it went well. He’s 87 now, but they say the new one is good for another 11 years, which will outlast me I should think. Anyway, that was quite enough for her not to sleep but on top of that, just before she went to bed she got an email from Amigo saying could he come home as he wasn’t very happy in Ireland and wanted to see his family. Now she’s upset as she can’t go to fetch him very soon because of her hand operation. She’s emailed him back to say he just needs to be patient and she’ll come for him as soon as she can. Poor Amigo, his life really hasn’t gone according to plan. He’s nearly 18 months old and still hasn’t found his place in the world. My Mistress is talking to some special trainers about whether they will be able to help him before he finds his forever home. Aristotle is very excited about seeing his brother and Shadow is now worrying about her wayward son and asking if we think any of it might be her fault. What is really sad is that he was given the name Amigo because there is nothing an Entlebucher wants more out of life than to be a human’s best friend. He was supposed to be someone’s best buddy, their true amigo and here he is still searching for his soul-mate. I do hope things work out for him. I’ll keep you posted on what’s happening.

We are so sad that Amigo hasn’t been lucky with his new people again. Soggeli simply can’t believe that there might be something wrong with her beloved brother, nor that it was Shadow’s fault at all! If she were in charge, she would adopt him at once! We all are looking forward to hearing more from dear Amigo very soon. Lots of love and cuddles to you all. x
