My Mistress is happy to be home. She was so pleased to see us, it was lovely. It is odd without Megan around, but we’re going to make the most of the time and decorate Megan’s bedroom as a surprise for when she comes home.
So far the homecoming has been all about washing and putting things away. However, my Mistress has found that the bank hasn’t fixed the problem so one of the jobs for the next couple of days is to ring the newsdesk of a national newspaper. I think she’s going to ring one of the Sunday papers later today. She hasn’t really got time for it all, but the fact the bank has done nothing about it is too shocking just to leave. It’s now been 4 weeks since she first reported the problem and over a week since she gave them an ultimatum. I’ll let you know how it all goes.
She has also reached the sad conclusion that her car is probably due for its MOT, another job she could do without at the moment. It’s always the same with these things, they creep up on you when you are least expecting it. It does help to keep her out of mischief and as I pointed out, without walking Megan she does have more time for the next few weeks! Mind you, she pointed out that she also has to sort out the insurance claim for Megan and catch up with the gardening. Besides which the time is going to fly by and before we know it, Megan will be back home with us and hopefully expecting more puppies, which will mean my Mistress is busy all over again! She wouldn’t be happy if she had nothing to do, so I don’t suppose she’ll complain too much.
