When my Mistress rang the tyre garage she asked where she could buy snow chains and the man she spoke to said there was a place just round the corner from them. She planned to walk to it while the garage sorted out her tyres. When she got there and left her car the man told her it would be over an hour before they got to hers so she said it was no problem, if he could direct her to the snow chain place that would be fine. Of course, it was a different man and he didn’t know of anywhere that sold snow chains. Nor for that matter did any of his colleagues. They rang one place but they only had snow socks for cars and my Mistress didn’t want those. Anyway, she sat in their waiting room and searched on the internet for snow chains and will order them to be delivered to us instead.
Tess and Ari have been playing together. He’s being so lovely and gentle with her. It reminds me of when I was younger. To be honest I’ve had my days of playing with small puppies. I’m at the stage in life where I want to put my paws up and let the younger ones take on the mantle. It’s a shame that Shadow won’t be nice to her puppies after they are a few weeks old. She spends all her time making sure they submit to her and that’s no fun for anyone. Little Tess really looked quite confused by why she kept being put down on the floor by her mum when she’d done nothing wrong. That was when Ari was called in to take over. He’s willing to play chase at puppy speed and then share a bone or two.
