Well dear little Tess had a lovely visit with her new humans yesterday. She did all the things we’d told her to and even remembered to ask to be put down when she needed the toilet. Everyone loved her but the best piece of news is that she can stay here for an extra couple of weeks when the others leave. She has also got her very own blanket now that smells of her humans and she can’t wait to have some time with it in the same way the others have been doing.
They are all very playful when they are awake now and would like nothing more than to be out and about running around with us. They do run out of steam quite quickly but for the few minutes before that happens they are simply crazy.
My Mistress is busy starting to think about travel plans for Beija for her trip to Switzerland. It can’t be until Beija is a full 3 calendar months old, but she says she’s looking forward to it. Megan will go on the trip to look after her and is staying there to settle Beija in and make sure she’s ok.
I’m going to be hanging around the kitchen today as my Mistress is making the cake for my Master’s birthday party. She says I’m to keep away as some of the ingredients aren’t good for me, but where’s the fun in that? Some of the ingredients aren’t good for her either but she’s in there!
Today’s puppy weights are a bit of a guesstimate as yesterday’s were. The puppies are back to their old pillowcase which they are happy about but they still don’t want to keep still. If they are right then it looks as though later today we may have our first 5kg puppy. Dickens weighed in at 4950g Tucker at 4720g, Basil at 4680g, Tess at 4620g and Beija at 4260g. They are all very cuddly happy puppies, just the way we like them.
