There was one of those moments that money can’t buy yesterday. We looked in the pen to find Tucker lying on the candy cane with Basil snuggled up to him. They have stolen the most perfect puppy moment of this litter. Britannia getting her nose stuck between the bars was somewhere else on the scale. Poor little thing panicked and fortunately that was the point my Mistress came in and rescued her and gave her a long cuddle to calm her down.
The degree of smell of the poo has increased since they started moving onto puppy food, as has the volume. Tomorrow the baby food will be dropped out of the recipe. Probably not at breakfast but after that they will be onto a creamy puppy food. I have to say, they did love their Cow and Gate Orchard Chicken, so it’s going to be a wrench for them. I guess it’s all part of growing up.
By the end of yesterday I was feeling quite a lot better. I’m hoping to stay that way too.
All the presents are now bought. We just need to give them out. We need to see Brian the postman and thank him for being the best postman ever. He’s great as he gives us biscuits. That’s not the only reason he’s great, but it certainly helps.
