I’m sorry that you lost the picture this morning on the puppycam. Unfortunately when we moved everything the computer decided not to reconnect so we had to ask the lovely man from dogsclub.tv to come out and reset everything. It all took longer than expected. We held back from putting the puppies in the pen in the hope that you could see it all live.
Shadow is even more poorly again and doesn’t want to eat at all. She’s still got some milk at the moment so we are giving her until this afternoon to see if she will eat or whether we need to call the vet out. She is feeling really miserable, poor little thing.
The puppies have all gained at least a little weight in the last 24 hours. Not necessarily as much as we’d like at this stage, but at least it’s positive. Britannia added 40g to reach 1690g, Bossanova added 50g to reach 1650g, Boadicea added 60g to make 1600g, Bumble only added 30g to reach 1590g and little Beethoven is still bringing up the rear having added 50g to reach 1550g. We are going to up the puppy food slowly now and also offer them some formula milk as an alternative when their mum is struggling. Tomorrow may give rise to a slight set back in weights as they will have their first lot of wormer, but hopefully after that they will gain a little better.
