Shadow is driving my Mistress nuts. She does not want to get in with the puppies not one little bit, not at all. To be fair she still isn’t feeling well, although is starting to eat more again and is prepared to eat some of her regular food which is a step forward, but only when it’s mixed with the expensive special stuff and she did have her Fit and Fertile this morning for the first time in several days. Of course I was disappointed by that last point as I had been eating it when she refused. One problem is that the puppies’ claws are very sharp and Shadow is getting a little fed up with that. My Mistress can sympathise with that as she has scratches all the way down her arm from holding them back to make it easy for Shadow to get in and lie down. What Shadow wants to do it stay standing up but the puppies can’t quite reach her yet when she does that. This morning for the first time all the puppies had a little lap of puppy gruel. Bumble and Bossanova say they really like it and don’t mind moving onto it at all. The others say it is taking a little getting used to but they’ll get there. We really want to get Beethoven eating a little more as he is falling behind and even Boadicea has now overtaken him. He added 30g to reach 1440g while Boadicea added 70g to make 1450g. Despite adding 80g, Bumble is next at 1520g while Britannia and Bossanova added 50g and 60g respectively to reach 1580g.
What we are finding really funny is finding other people posting pictures of our puppies on the internet which they have taken from the puppy cam feed. It’s funny to think that there are already thousands of people who have seen the little fellows and they aren’t even three weeks old yet.
